FullTiltPoker.com launches new “Durrrr Challenge” Info page

Posted under Poker & online poker & poker event & poker tournament

FullTiltPoker.com has just launched a brand new informative site covering all the action of the “Durrrr Challenge”, an incredible online heads up tournament involving some of the finest big money poker players taking on the Heads Up Specialist Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

The new website section gives poker players and followers the chance to stay on top of this historical online poker challenge and check out timely updates. With this innovative “durrrr heads up Challenge” portal fans can track all the details and look at each poker hand played during this poker challenge, and look at lots of stats, including how many hands were played, time of session, cash won, average won during each hand and lots more.

Close to six months ago, the 23 year old online poker phenomenon dealt out a heads-up poker challenge for any poker player with the cash, time and talent to accept it. Any player entering the poker challenge has to bet $500,000 against durrrr’s $1.5 million. Dwan’s challenge states that at least 50,000 hands need to be played simultaneously at 4 or more poker tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the poker challenge, the poker player who has more cash will secure the pool. Basically if you enter the Full Tilt Challenge and win a dollar after the 50,000 hands, then you will take home durrrr’s $1.5 Million, but if he succeeds by a dollar then he will take your $500,000.

So far, several poker players have accepted to play the “durrrr challenge”, including WSOP Champ Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, but, only Patrick Antonius has accepted the challenge. Thus far, both poker players have completed in a total of 20,647 poker hands out of 50,000, with Tom durrrr Dwan ahead $726,546 total.

Is Shooting your Mouth Off in Poker a Good Bluffing Technique?

Posted under Poker & poker strategy & poker tips

poker tournaments
Without a doubt the most despicable individuals at the Texas Hold’em Poker table the majority of times will continually be the show-off. You recognize the poker player I’m speaking of. He’s the one that sits down at the Texas Hold’em table and makes certain you’re conscious that he wants to win all of your Texas Hold’em chips; parting the no limit Texas Hold’em poker table with the exact same outlook that he came with. Even if the guy gets shut down, he has the idea that he is the best poker player around.

As most Texas Hold’em Poker players would rather steer clear of opponents of this class, there are other players who might say that show-boating may have its good points. So, the big doubt is: Is there in all reality a clever no limit Texas Hold’em poker show-off or false no limit Texas Hold’em poker bragger? Showing-off about how clever you are in no-limit Texas Hold’em is mostly just like admitting: “I am the most skilled no limit Texas Hold’em poker player in the world, don’t forget to stay on your A-game while you’re sitting in a no limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament against me!” Almost definitely the nastiest vibe to give off playing Texas Hold’em. Plus, spilling too much information about your poker playing techniques can be very damaging to your poker game. You most certainly do not want these guys to get a clue about how you play specific Texas Hold’em Poker hands.

What is more there are those no-limit Texas Hold’em opponents who could use showing-off as a kind of poker technique, or bluff. Boasting when you get a specific poker hand could possibly bewilder your opponents and puzzle them about your no-limit Texas Hold’em playing approach. Some people may deem this technique a bit devious, but it is significant to consider that there aren’t any regulations against it in no limit Texas Hold’em poker. Poker is all about making use of what you have and exploiting it to the fullest.

Poker Investigation Story will be featured on TV

Posted under Poker & online poker & texas hold em

todd witteles
On Sunday, November 30th the CBS network will show their special program “How Online Gamblers Unmasked Cheaters”. This special was made after a 16-week study into the online poker business and in particular a deceitful scandal in relation to the online Texas Hold’em website Absolute Poker.

This Texas Hold’em room was examined after a number of the poker players on the site said that a player was unlawfully winning an incredible amount of cash. Todd Witteles was a major witness in this research, according to Witteles; he was losing incredible amounts of cash to the very same Texas Hold’em poker player. Witteles declared that this man was raising against extremely good cards, the majority of people would have guessed he was basically giving his money away, but he was incredibly winning money.

Witteles was correct with his suppositions, further down the line it was exposed that a player with knowledge of the site was able to spy on any player’s hole cards. At first glance, Absolute Poker claimed that nothing was wrong with the page or the Texas Hold’em poker player. After many more players showed up with charges of fraud, the poker website investigated further into the cheating problem and made the discovery.

In Jan. of this year, the KGC uncovered what the poker players and the poker website had supposed all along. As it turns out, there was a worker who had invaded the Texas Hold’em poker page’s protection and was competing illegally for more or less six weeks. The study proved that the Texas Hold’em webpage had not gained from the dishonest transactions by any means, and was in no way engaged in the activities.

These issues are further testimony that there should be more regulation regarding online gambling pages. The United States government should authorize and legalize the internet gambling industry to protect these upright clients. These laws would also control the admission to these sites by children, which is turning into another issue these days.

Is it Possible to Make Money Playing Texas Hold’em Poker?

Posted under Poker & online Texas Hold'em & online poker

poker millionaires
If you were to talk to any ordinary person off the street about Texas Hold’em poker, they possibly wouldn’t believe poker to be a game of tactics, planning, or careful observation. Chances are when you refer to online poker with them, they would more than likely visualize some poker buddies sitting around their TV room talking and drinking beer. They also might believe online poker to be a game of chance rather than talent, more similar to a game of blackjack and not a skill game, for instance.

So the big question you might be asking yourself is: “Can I become rich playing poker?”. You might not believe it but, there are folks who actually earn a living this way. Several people not just rake in some cash by playing online poker, but also make a lot of money by playing poker. The first thing you have to remember about Texas Hold’em is that although you can play in a Sin City casino, close to blackjack tables and casino slots; in online Texas Hold’em poker you are not playing against the house but against other online poker competitors. So, in all reality, you are gambling your money against other players in a game of ability rather than a game of luck.

You may be thinking to yourself: “Doesn’t it pay to be lucky?” Naturally in Texas Hold’em poker, no one really knows which cards will be dealt out. That doesn’t necessarily mean that one cannot play Texas Hold’em poker with a dependable amount of pre-tournament know-how. One major thing to keep in mind in online poker is that numbers do not lie. Mathematics plays a very significant role in the game of Texas Hold’em poker. So much so, that even if you become somewhat fortunate frequently the statistics always have a way of humbling a poker player.

Always remember that Sin City casino games similar to online Texas Hold’em where you are in reality contending against other actual players CAN be won. The more you play the game of online poker, you will discover that it is more of game of expertise and not just genuine chance.

Shunning Diversions when playing Texas Holdem

Posted under Poker & poker tournament & texas hold em

poker
The rewards of online Texas Holdem poker versus real Texas Holdem casinos are infinite, but besides these advantages there are also a few drawbacks. Full Tilt Poker permits non-professional Texas Hold em players the option to try their luck in professional poker tournaments with professional players, but these beginner players should shun away any interruptions that could destroy their prospects to win lots of poker chips.

Lots of Full Tilt Poker players become preoccupied by what is happening around them, or perhaps by the Full Tilt Poker webpage they are playing on. These distractions can in fact cost them good Texas Hold em hands and quite possibly their well-merited poker chips. The game of poker is a game of skillfulness and also total awareness, no matter if you are competing at online Texas Holdem, or in a real-life poker room.

Most likely, the principal slip-up that Full Tilt Poker players commit is by being involved in more than one table at the same time. The majority of amateur Full Tilt Poker players will think that this is a good plan, but finally it could possibly prove to be a drawback. This way of playing several poker tables at the same time will damage your awareness and finally cost you money. Remember that even the expert poker players out there can make damaging miscalculations when focusing their mind on numerous online Texas Holdem tables simultaneously.

Any particular Full Tilt Poker player, might at any moment, find themselves playing different internet poker tables at the same time, at the same time as they are watching television, reading their favorite poker blogs, talking to friends etc. This is a situation that ought to be shunned if you aspire to win online Texas Holdem games and make the grade for big Full Tilt Poker tournaments. Never forget to focus your thoughts on the other online Texas Holdem poker player’s bets, their motives, and your own Full Tilt Poker hands if you want to be the best poker player.
